Reporting to the Range Manager: The Range Safety Officer (RSO) – is the primary contact responsible for all activities related to the delivery of range services to all customers and guests. The RSO will provide direction, guidance and direct supervision to all individuals through the range experience, ensuring the safety and health of each guest and employee and that the customer enjoys a fun and exciting experience.
The RSO will strictly adhere to, and continuously monitoring to maintain a safe environment while delivering exceptional customer service. In this way, the Range Safety Officer will achieve and exceed monthly sales goals by leveraging their extensive knowledge of the products and packages available, follow safety protocols, demonstrate active listening to identify customer need, and engage in cross- and upselling by presenting the appropriate products and services which meet the customer’s requirements.
In addition to these responsibilities as described in the Range Safety Officer job description, the Range Safety Officer will:
- Possess advanced knowledge of, and provide leadership in modelling of all firearms safety and health and wellness laws, regulations, policies, procedures and processes
- Demonstrate proficiency in maintaining / repairing firearms
- Model exceptional sales and customer service skills to maximize sales and profitability
- Assist in maintaining inventory to ensure availability of products and services
- Demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills
